A click on the Labels button opens a search form for the production of labels for specimens / observation records. Available options include:

• the standard search form: This allows you to find any specimen within the database.

• the barcode label interface: By choosing your institution and entering a range of collection numbers you can print barcode labels for certain parts of he collection.

• the specimenID entry field: allows finding a specimen by its specimenID

Labels for type specimens can be produced either by using the label search form or by clicking the specimenID on a database entry.
